Obituary of Ronald McDonald

McDONALD: Ronald John. A resident of R.R.#1 Muirkirk, Ronald J. McDonald passed away suddenly at University Hospital, London on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the age of 70. Born in Orford Township, son of the late Hugh A. and Lillian B. (Templeton) McDonald. Dear brother of Mary Margaret McDonald of London, and Archie and Thelma McDonald of London. Also survived by several cousins. Ron will also be fondly missed by his neighbours Dan and Linda McDonald and family. Ron was an active member of the Duart Lion's Club and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.#335 Highgate. He farmed all of his life in Orford Township, and spent part of the winter as a Snowbird in Florida following his retirement. He was also a former Director of Howard Mutual Insurance. Family will recieve friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation with interment in Duart Cemetery.
