FISHER: Betty Louise A resident of Chatham and formerly of Chatham Township, Betty Fisher died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday March 7, 2008 at the age of 79. Born in Chatham on November 24, 1928, daughter of the late Leonard & Lydia (Edwards) LaRue. Beloved wife of the late David Fisher (1986) Loving mother of Graham & Elizabeth Fisher, Carol Fisher & Robert Quinn, all of Toronto, and the late Scott Fisher (1985) and Mark Fisher (1958) Cherished grandmother of Liane Fisher of London, and Kent Fisher of Guelph. Dear sister of Joan Pollock of Chatham. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Betty was an active member of French’s United Church, and recently joined Victoria Avenue United Church. She was a very active volunteer with the Active Lifestyle Centre, and especially enjoyed teaching bridge with her sister Joan. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday March 9, 2007 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday March 10, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
