Obituary of Nellie Kitzul

KITZUL: Nellie (Markowsky), a resident of Chatham, died on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at home, at the age of 91. Born in Saskatchewan to the late Metro & Anna (Yaschuk) Markowsky. Beloved wife of the late William Kitzul (1984). Very special mom, friend, and teacher to Verna & Dave Johnston of Grand Bend, Dave Kitzul, Karen & Jerry Jakovac, Terry & Linda Kitzul, and Kevin Kitzul, all of Chatham. Nellie will be missed by her 11 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren. She is survived by sisters Sophie Desrosiers and Doris Douglas. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by brothers Bill Markowsky, Nick Markowsky, Mike Markowsky, John Markowsky, Peter Markowsky, and sisters Mary Maximuck, Ann Bonnar, and Lily Legroulx. In accordance with Nellie’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 12:30 -2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home, with Roger Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers, please give a loved one a hug.
