Obituary of Beatrice Marie Lucio

A lifetime resident of Cedar Springs, Beatrice Lucio passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday March 13, 2017 at the age of 79. Born in Cedar Springs to parents Daniel Attewell and Ella (nee Pilon). Beatrice is predeceased by the father of her children and friend Kenneth Lucio, as well as her daughter Nancy Bran. Loving mother of Brenda Lucio (Mike Sullivan) of Blenheim, Tracy Lucio of Dealtown and Tim Lucio (Anne-Marie) of Cedar Springs. Mother-in-law to Salvador Bran. Proud grandmother of Christopher Kuiper of Brampton, Jenny (Ryan)Woodhouse of Newmarket, Amber Ogle (Aaron Ladd) of Goderich, Kevin Ogle of Chatham, Julie Russell (Darren Brady) of Merlin, Michelle Ogle of Blenheim, Jaleesa Russell of LaSalle, and Ava Dawn Lucio, Olivia Snyder, and Jewelya Hanov, all of Cedar Springs. Great-grandmother of Austin, Callie, Nolan, Cullen, Mackie, Jaxon, Jaycelyn, Emmitt, Marleigh, Dara Bea, Zachary and Larkin. Dear sister of the late Donny (late Jean) Attewell, late Patricia Attewell, Micki (late Ross) Beggs, Dan (Shirley) Attewell, Hedy (Maurice) Mandeno, Mary (Jim) Howe, and David Attewell. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. She was well known by all as "Aunt Bea". She held many jobs locally, most notably working as a cook at the Cadillac and Blenheim Hotels, at McGuigan's Orchards, and as sporting goods manager at Woolco. Bea loved her time spent outdoors, admiring all wildlife and was an avid fisherwoman. She could often be found taking a walk in the woods and fishing along with her family. She loved games, often watching television game shows, playing euchre and bingo. A Graveside Service will be held at Pardoville Cemetery, on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 2pm.
