Rosa Gina Negri
NEGRI: Gina, a resident of Chatham, died peacefully on her birthday with her family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. Born in Bric, Italy on August 2nd, 1936 to the late Antonio & Rosa (Braico) Cleva. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Sergio (June 14, 2008.) Dear mother of Tony Negri & his wife Vera, Grace Stirling, and Gino Negri & his wife Jodi.
Dear Nonna of Kyle Negri (Miranda), Jocelyn Stirling (Branden), Katelyn White (Nic), Keegan Stirling and his friend Libbie, Morgan Stirling, Curtis Peltier (Malerie), Jami Nantais, Kaitlyn Koehler (Joel), and Kayla Micallef (Matt). Great Nonna to babies Koehler and Micallef expecting later this year.
Predeceased by her younger siblings Maria Marancia, Silvana Zadnik, Giovanni Cleva, and her granddaughter Lauren Stirling (February 19, 2000.)
Gina was loved by all who met her. She was an incredible baker, cook, knitter and friend.
She will be remembered privately by her family.
