Obituary of M. Jean Sherman

SHERMAN: M. Jean (nee Little) – A resident of Thamesville, Jean Sherman passed away at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury with her family at her side on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 81. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Jean was the daughter of John Stanley and Eva Mae (Dunning) Little. Beloved wife of 58 years to W. Lewis Sherman. Dear mother Louise Sherman of London, David Sherman (Cathy) of Thamesville and Jane Lawton (Kennon) of R.R.#2 Kent Bridge. Proud grandmother of Adam Waldner (Kristi) of Saskatoon, SK, Teghan Sherman of Thamesville, Sam Sherman of Thamesville, Ian Lawton of R.R. # 2 Kent Bridge. Great-grandmother to Katelynne Waldner. Predeceased by her grandson Kyle Van Acker (2009). Survived by her sister Patricia Bosanac (Mike) of Monroe, MI, her brother-in-law Chuck Mosher of Monroe, MI and her sister-in-law Lisa Little of Trenton, Michigan. Predeceased by her sister Barbara Mosher, and her brothers George and Jack Little. Jean was an active member of the Thamesville Presbyterian Church and the Tecumseh Rebekkah Lodge #293, Thamesville. She was a strong wife, mother and all around best friend and supporter to Lewis and her children. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Monday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 with Pastor Bob McCall officiating. Interment to follow at Sherman Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations made in memory of Jean to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated.
