With heavy hearts, the family of Gene Christopher Nauta announces his sudden passing at the age of 53. Gene was the dearly beloved husband of Loreta (Camanzo) Nauta. Loving father of Allison and Ethan Nauta. Cherished son of Marie (Plank) and the late Richard (Dick) Nauta Sr. Devoted youngest brother to Richard Jr. (Helen), David (Janet), Robert (Carol) and Michael Nauta, and dear uncle to their many children. Gene had a passion for antiques, especially model John Deere tractors. A private service was held on March 7, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any charitable donations be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
