To Mrs. D, Tom, Yvonne, Sonya and the entire Ducharme family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mr D. was a pretty special person, I never met anyone where everyday seemed like a good day. He was always smiling, would give a wave, say hello, ask how are you were doing and made your day that much better. Whether he was on the sideline at a football game, mingling at a pool party, giving you quick trim to look good or keeping the shine on the yellow mustang he was a big part of our memories growing up. May all those wonderful moments give you some comfort at this time.

Dad....
Your life story is one I will carry with me forever ❤️❤️. The gifts of faith, hope and love that were you, have shaped me to be who I am today! Kindness, resilience and generosity were three of your greatest qualities. I will miss you so much and cherish all our wonderful memories!! Splitting a beer with my euchre partner and golf and fitness buddy were a few of my favourites. Rejoice in the incredible joy of reuniting with Monica and Charlene! Our family chain is broken, but as God call us one by one, the chain will link again! Love without end Amen. ❤️❤️❤️

Aunt Juliette, Tom, Yvonne, Sonya and families...Uncle Irvin was an incredible man that I always looked up to, as my uncle and godfather. He felt like a teacher and a second father to me because he cared so much. He always made me feel special and important, and I will never forget that. He was a beautiful person, inside and out, with a zest for life, infectious smile, and laugh I can still hear. Family was so important to him, which was evident by his actions and the love we all felt. I will miss him, as we all will. My thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you.

Dear Aunt Julie and family, condolences. Uncle Irv shared his joy for life, and it was amazing, whether at family gatherings at your house or when he took to the road for a visit. Like he had done for his grandkids, he traveled to see games in which I played, and was often the most enthusiastic voice at the field or in the stands. I am deeply saddened by the loss, and of a person who brought so much joy to others.

Dear Aunt Julie, Tom, Yvonne, Sonya, Dan and families - Uncle Irv was a lovely man, as well as a kind and generous godparent. I always liked coming to your house in Chatham, swimming in the pool, playing in the basement or on the organ … uncle Irv and you made us feel welcome as children and as adults. He was always warm and smiling, honest and funny, energetic and appreciative. I know his recent health struggles were difficult. I am glad I got to visit last summer despite covid and distance, and it was good to see you again Aunt Julie just a few weeks ago. I’m thinking of you all in these hard days and wishing you much love and peace of heart . Heather (and Will and family)

We were so sorry to hear of Irvin’s passing and send our deepest sympathies to you.
To recall Irv is to recall a pleasant, upbeat, ever smiling guy who made life on McGeorge Ave quite special.
I also have a vivid memory of the day he took me for a spin in his brand new canary yellow Mustang.
He was simply one of the best !

OH how I remember those times when he would transform drab hair to awesome in just a few clips of his scissors! I remember the first time that I had my hair backcombed and I looked in the mirror after he was finished and I was amazed at the bee hive sitting on top of my head! I had no idea how this came to be! But Mr. scissors did magic every time! He had a joie de vivre and an energy that radiated to everyone around him. Jeannette

Aunt Juliette, Tom, Yvonne, Sonya and families my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time.
Uncle Irvin was always pleasant, positive and full of energy.
He was kind and always took the time to talk and get to know his nieces and nephews in Windsor.
When my Dad Leo was very sick but still concerned himself about his appearance Uncle Irvin came to the hospital to cut Dads hair.
This is one of Uncle Irvin’s way of showing his kindness. I will not forget the love he gave my Dad.
Rest In Peace Uncle Irvin
All my Love
