Green burial uses natural, biodegradable materials in place of metal, varnish, and vaults, allowing the earth to complete its cycle.
Living and serving families across Chatham-Kent, surrounded by farms, fields, woodlots, and waterways, we're reminded of that cycle every day. Green burial isn’t a new idea so much as a return to how things were done for generations — simple materials, no unnecessary processes, and the earth allowed to do what it has always done.
No Embalming:
The body is buried in its natural state without embalming
Natural Wicker & Green Burial Caskets:
Made from sustainably harvested wood and materials with no metal hardware or toxic finishes
Biodegradable Urns:
Crafted from natural materials such as recycled paper, plant fibres, or sand
