LOVELL: Jamie -
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jamie Lovell on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Ajax at the age of 56.
He was the son of Gale Lovell (nee Kerr) and the late James (Jim) Lovell.
Lovingly remembered by his spouse, Stacey Tucker.
Proud father of his children, Ashley Lawrence (Liam Woodroffe), Rachael D’ Ornellas (Damian), Tabitha Jennings, Tiffany Lovell (Jordan Lesy), Jamie Lee Lovell and let’s not forget his fur baby Jax.
Devoted Papa J of Ella, Cillian, Alice, Colten, Tyson, Nyah, Nash and Charlie.
Beloved brother of Tracy Mandeno (nee Lovell) and brother-in-law of Todd Mandeno.
Missed by many nephews and extended family.
Jamie was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest joy under open skies and with the people he loved most. He cherished sharing adventures with family and friends, especially riding quads and motorcycles, hunting, and fishing - moments that brought laughter, connection, and lasting memories.
Above all, Jamie valued time with his spouse, children, grandchildren, and family. The trailer at Sandaraska Park was his peaceful escape - a place where life slowed down, laughter came easily, and memories were made around campfires, quiet moments, and rides on his golf cart. Jamie will be remembered for his love of family, his strong bond with the outdoors, and the warmth he brought into every space he entered. His legacy lives on through the stories shared, the trails travelled and the love he leaves behind.
A Celebration of Jamie's Life will be held at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 463 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 2:30 pm. Cremation has taken place.
