Watts: Thelma Rose Alice (née Allenby) -
A cherished resident of Ridgetown, Thelma Watts passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 82.
Born in Chatham, Thelma was the beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Bessie (née Jinkerson) Allenby.
Loving mother of James (Renee), Darren, and Darryl (Kelly). Proud and devoted grandmother of Jara (Trey), Jenni, Krystal, Drew, and Leah, and great-grandmother of Daisy, Kira, and Karmyn. She will be deeply missed by her loyal fur companion Duke, especially at mealtimes and as well as numerous cats.
Thelma will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated nurse who cared deeply for others throughout her life, both professionally and personally. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.
Thelma will be remembered for her love of family, her warmth, and the comfort she brought to those around her.
A Celebration of Life took place prior to Thelma's passing with her closest family members in attendance as per her request.
