Obituary of Georgia (Gina) Attard
It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the passing of our mother, Georgia (Gina) Attard (nee Borg).
Georgia passed away at the age of 86 at Chatham-Kent Hospice on August 3rd, 2026.
Georgia was born in Malta to Anna and Andrew Borg on February 11th, 1940.
In 1958, travelling alone she moved to Canada.
Georgia is survived by her 3 Children Rick (Brenda), Brian (Sandie) and Sharon Guillou and her 4 grandchildren Lindsay Guillou (Ben), Wesley (Carrie) Jessica (Ryan), and Amber Attard (Austin), her brother Fred and sisters Josie and Bessie. She had many cousins, nieces, nephews & numerous friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Blenheim Village Long Term Care, Chatham Hospital and Chatham -Kent Hospice for caring for Georgia for the past 7 months.
Georgia came to Toronto, Ontario & was a long term resident of Streetsville, Georgetown, Barrie, finally residing in Blenheim Ontario.
She will be missed more than words can express.
There will be a celebration of Life at the Malta Band Club on August 13th from 11:00 - 3:00 pm.
Address 5745 Cooper's Ave in Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Georgia (Gina) Attard can be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
Mom has left us all devastated, not having her around & the pain of her passing is still raw. Our family will never be whole again with her gone, but even in such grief we can strive to find comfort in all the wonderful memories we shared over the years.
