Peacefully, Surrounded by family, Jennifer Cordeiro passed away after a courageous battle at University Hospital - London Health Sciences Centre on March 20, 2024 at the age of 50.

Born in London , Jennifer was the daughter of Wayne Cranston (1983) and Margaret McDonald (Cranston).

Jennifer was the beloved wife of 28 years to Nelson Cordeiro. Dear mother to Faith, Max, and Molly Cordeiro. She offered the purest form of unconditional love.

She will be lovingly remembered by her Brother, Greg Cranston and Sister-in-law Krista Cranston. Auntie Jen to Kaleb, Adelaide, and Matthew Cranston.

Jennifer was a loving daughter-in-law of Jose and Maria Cordeiro, and a loving sister-in-law to Mark and Kimberly Cordeiro.

She will be missed by many friends, extended family members, and her clients.

Jennifer served her community for many years as a family counselor. She was a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor and a strong advocate for mental health, speaking internationally at conferences. She was high achieving, accomplishing a Ba, MTS, RSW, and working towards her PhD, as well a published author in educational text. She loved visiting the beach, swimming, and traveling with family. You could often find her sketching and enjoying music (Barry Manilow).

Family would like to offer sincere thanks to the staff at the Cardiac Surgery Recovery Unit, Intensive Care at University Hospital for the compassionate care that Jen received.

The family invite guests to begin celebrating Jennifer's life at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street Chatham, on Tuesday, March 26th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Donations made in memory of Jennifer to the Canadian Liver Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
