100 Men Who Care

Raising money for charities and causes is something I have always been proud to say Chatham-Kent has done well. As time goes on, there have been more and more mechanisms to raise these funds. One particular group I am proud to be a part of is called “100 Men Who Care Chatham-Kent”. It is a group who gather four times a year, nominate a charity, vote on a logical recipient and each give the charity $100. If the group does have 100 people, that is an easy $10,000 to the lucky charity. It is a high impact group that only asks for four hours of your time and $400 a year. On Friday, September 16, 2022 we were able to present the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation a cheque for $10,600. Recently we were able to give cheques to groups such as Neighbourlink, ROCK Missions, the Wheatley Food Bank and the Word of Life Soup Kitchen in Blenheim. It is a great way to meet people and to do good for the community. You can join 100 Men Who Care online at www.100menck.com or 100 Women Who Care at www.100womenwhocarechathamkent.com. Or, you can connect with me at the Funeral Home and I can help sign you up. I long for the day where we need to change the name to 200 Men Who Care!
