Tree Service Thank You
September is always is always a busy month for us at the Funeral Home, as it is the month we hold two of our tree planting services. CM Wilson/Skakel Conservation area is the Sunday after labour day and the T.R.E.E.S. park in Ridgetown is the following Sunday. After two years of digital services, we were thrilled to be able to hold these services again in person. Special thanks again to all of you who assisted in making these tree services possible – particularly celebrants Jamie Tiffin and Dan Ouimette, pipers Dan Vinter and Ken Poole, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority and Foundation, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent as well as our staff, my family and the numerous volunteers that make these events possible.
He who plants a tree,
He plants love,
Tents of coolness spreading out above
shading Wayfarers he may not live to see.
Gifts that grow are best;
Hands that bless are blessed:
PLANT! Life does the rest!
-Lucy Lancom
