Obituary of Ronald Moon

MOON: a resident of Chatham. Ron Moon died suddenly Monday April 17, 2006 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 74. Born in Chatham son of the late Terry and Stella (Viau) Moon. Mr. Moon was a Past President of C.A.W. Local 127, an avid golfer and active in the community. Beloved husband of Mary (Whaley) Moon. Dear father of Barry & Laurie Moon, Lacombe, Alberta and Mike & Cheryl Moon, Chatham. Grandfather of Charity and Steve and Sarah. Great Grandfather of Kaylee. Brother of Donna & John Peel; Bev Merritt & Don Jones and Terry & Betty Ann Moon all of Chatham. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday April 18, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:30 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday April 19, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Interment of Cremated Remains in Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations made by cheque to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the O.S.P.C.A. appreciated.
