Obituary of Donald Tompkins

TOMPKINS A resident of Chatham, Don Tompkins passed away, after a lengthy illness on Friday, April 21, 2006 with his family at his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 75. Born in Windsor, son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Laur) Tompkins. Loving father of Donna and Larry Londry of Toronto, Laurie Tompkins of London and Carrie and Mike Myers of Chatham. Grandfather of Ryan, Ashleigh and Kaitlyn Kowalyk and Matthew and Braydon Myers. Predeceased by his son-in-law Ric Kowalyk (1996). Brother of Carol Fox of Australia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Private Family Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Interment of cremated remains in Windsor at a later date. Donations, made by cheque, to Heart and Stroke appreciated.
