Obituary of Marie Moon

MOON: A resident of Chatham, Marie Moon, died on Friday, April 21, 2006, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance in Chatham, at the age of 80. Born in Chatham May 26, 1925 to the late Roland and Gladys (Greenaway) Crouchman. Beloved wife of the late Charles Richard Moon. Loving mother of Sharon Carey and her husband Albert of Dresden and Ron Dent and his wife Terri of Chatham. Step mother to Charlene Hooker and her husband Wes and Joy Swartz, all of Chatham. Marie will be sadly missed by grandchildren Debbie Smith and her husband Jamie, and Kevin Carey and his wife Krista; as well as great grandchildren Kadi, Keely, and Kelsey Smith; and Taylor, Ty, and Quinn Carey. She is also survived by sister Ilene Butler. Marie is predeceased by brothers Ray and Bert Crouchman. Marie was a longtime member of the Branch 28 Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed waitressing at Rossini's for 27 years. As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Parkinson's Society are welcomed at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham. We Love You Mom.
