Obituary of Louis Garant

GARANT: A resident of Chatham, Louis Garant died peacefully after a lengthy illness, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday May 6, 2006 at the age of 69 years. Louis was born in Staples, Ontario on August 13, 1936, son of the late William & Iva Garant. His sister Helen St. Clair predeceased in 1997. Louis is fondly remembered by cousins Kevin St. Clair and Carol Laurie of Chatham, as well as numerous friends and family at Community Living, Chatham-Kent. He was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and attended Friendship Bible Hour. He also loved dancing and bowling. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday May 9, 2006 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Martin of Emmanuel Baptist Church officiating.
