Obituary of Marjorie Matthew

MATTHEW: A resident of Chatham, Marjorie (Marj) Matthew, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 95. Born in Tupperville to the late Ethel Barberick. Beloved wife of the late Carl E. Matthew (1955). Loving mother of Barbara Clackett and Doug Matthew and his wife Dianne. Nana of Brad Clackett and his wife Michelle, Kim Willson and her husband Mike, Robyn Robinson and her husband Paul, and Chantelle Cottingham and her husband Jason. She will be sadly missed by great grandchildren Sydney, Matthew, Karlene, Kyle, Kurt, Chelsea, Nicholas, Renee, Hunter, Michael, and Melissa. Sister in-law Phyllis Matthew and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by son in-law Glen Clackett and grandchild Mary Patricia Matthew. Marj retired from Elan Tool & Dye in 1975 and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459, St. Clair St., on Thursday from 2:00 -4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Jim Williams celebrant. Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Memorial donations made by cheque to the charity of one's choice are welcomed.
