Obituary of Peter Cameron Woodcock

WOODCOCK: A resident of Chatham, Peter Cameron Woodcock died, June 8, 2006, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 73. Born in Sarnia to the late Garrett and Geraldine (Cameron) Woodcock. Beloved husband of Mary Patricia "Pat" (Tobin) Woodcock. Loving father of Paula Woodcock of Chatham, Cameron Woodcock & wife Kim of Cochrane, Alta, Christopher Woodcock & wife Paula of Napean, and Drew Woodcock & wife Tammy of Chatham. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Eric, Teri-anne, Mitchell, and Sam. Peter is predeceased by sister Catharine Curry. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Peter moved from London in 1971 and resided in Chatham, where he worked as a Lands Agent at Union Gas for 42 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Kent Branch of Ontario Genealogical Society, as well as the Golden Genies. Peter also enjoyed being a Mall Walker. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., on Saturday June 10, 2006 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. McNamara of St. Agnes Church celebrant. Cremation with interment at a a later date. Memorial donations made by cheque to the charity of one's choice are welcomed.
