Obituary of Oscar A. Barichello

A resident of Chatham and formerly of Windsor, Oscar A. Barichello died on Monday, July 3, 2006 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in his 82nd year. Born in Italy, son of the late Atillio and Amelia (Battachello) Barichello. Beloved husband of Charlotte (Frain) Barichello for 46 years. Loving father of Valerie and Jeffrey Smith of London, Conrad and Kathy Barichello of Amhertsburg and predeceased by Laurie (1962) and special daughter Dina (1998). Devoted grandfather of Daniel, Christopher and Jessica. Brother of Violet and Sally in Windsor and the late Robert. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Oscar was a veteran of W.W.II and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 1:00--3:00 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home with Mr. Gilbert Barichello officiating. Private family Interment of cremated remains in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor at a later date.
