Obituary of C. Lloyd Richards

Richards: a resident of Chatham. C. Lloyd Richards died Thursday September 7, 2006 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 79. Born in Harwich Township, son of the late Charles William and Amelia Ann (Keiver) Richards. Beloved husband of Eileen (Clackett) Richards. Dear father of Robert Richards, Waterford; Carrie Richards, Sarasota, Florida; John & Nancy Richards, Chatham; Marianne & Trevor Jee, Chatham and Mary Richards, Chatham. Grandfather of Samantha & Nicole Richards; Alisha & Gregory Tiffin; Shannon & Kelly Richards; and Daniel, Matthew & Austin Jee. Great Grandfather of Jocelyn & Mackenzie Richards. Mr. Richards retired from The UCO in 1989. He was a member of St. Andrews United Church, Past National President of AOTS, a member and Past President of the Kiwanis Golden K, a Charter member of ‘The Mall Walkers’ and a Volunteer driver for ‘Meals on Wheels’ since 1989. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday September 10, 2006 from 2:00 – 4:30 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Monday September 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Brooks officiating and assisted by Rev. David Williamson. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations made by cheque to ‘Meals on Wheels’ or Charity of Choice appreciated.
