Obituary of Louis Veverka

VEVERKA: Louis. A life long resident of Chatham, Louis Veverka passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the age of 84, surrounded by his family. Born in Vnorovy, Czechoslovakia, son of the late Bartholomew and Anna (Holek) Veverka. Beloved husband of Ann (Opavsky) Veverka for 61 years. Louis retired from International Harvester with 31 years of service. Father of Robert L. Veverka of Chatham and Nancy Huber of Windsor. Grandfather of Jason Huber and Jennifer Drouillard of Windsor, and Michelle Huber and Sam Lutfi of Windsor. Brother of Anne Buxton of South Buxton, Mildred Konecny of Dawn Township, and John and Jayne Veverka of Chatham, and Honey too. Funeral Service was held at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett officiating. Pallbearers were Robert Veverka, John Veverka, Michelle Huber, Sam Lutfi, Jason Huber, and Jeff Roe. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to the charity of choice appreciated.
