Obituary of Jeanne Fawcett

A resident of Chatham, Jeanne M. Fawcett died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the age of 94. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Milton Roy and Sara Jane Maud (Cooper) Grover. Beloved wife of the late William Fawcett (1982). Loving mother of Loretta J. Fawcett of Chatham, Dr. William R. Fawcett and his wife Dr. Suza Kovacova of Colfax, California, Roger M. Fawcett and his wife Patricia of Flat Rock, Michigan, Paul M. Fawcett of Albaquerque, New Mexico and Dr. Charles J. Fawcett of Toronto. Grandmother of Natalie, Tanya, Lee Anne, Robert, James, Catherine, Mary, David and Dan and great-grandmother of Brendan, Madison, Sebastian, Alexander, Pascale and Maxime. Sister of Doris and her husband Elmer Rylett of London and Roberta Chandler of Chatham. Jeanne is predeceased by her grandson William Fawcett (1985), sisters Ruth Jackson, Lucy Grover and Josie Grover and brother John Grover. Surviving is her sister-in-law Eileen Grover of Chatham. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 2:30-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett, Celebrant. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
