PEPPER: Marcella Paula. With deep sadness the family of Marcella announces her passing on Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, St. Joseph’s Campus. Born in Belgium on October 31, 1921, she immigrated to this country with her late parents Michael and Leona Bekaert and late brother, George. Loving wife to John Clark Pepper for 63 years. Beloved mother of Alma and her husband Anthony Kuni. Dearest Grandmother to Darren Kuni and his wife Janine and their son Hudson, Leanne Hughes and her husband Philip and their children, Spencer, Haley, and Carter. A sister, Alma Brosseau also survives. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Mass of the Ressurection will be celebrated at St. Ursula’s Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave. W., Chatham on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Daniel Vere the celebrant. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Chatham-Kent or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
