Obituary of J. Glen Wallace

A resident of Chatham, Glen Wallace died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the age of 81. Wonderful father of Nancy and Frank Robarts of Blenheim, Cindi and Terry Bond of Chatham and predeceased by David Wallace (1978) and Bruce Wallace (1961). Grandfather of Ryan and Jeff Bond. Brother of Roy Wallace of Boston MA, and predeceased by John, Clarence, Elmer, Fred and George Wallace. Loving companion of Gladys Haddock and her family. Glen was predeceased by his former wife, the late Yvonne Wallace (2006). He retired as a Principal from the Kent County School Board and was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #28. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 from the Funeral Home with Rev. Heather Scott officiating. Private family interment of cremated remains in Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations, made by cheque, to Charity of Choice appreciated.
