Obituary of Beatrice Edna Dejaegher

Dejaegher - Beatrice Edna, a resident of Chatham, after a long battle with cancer, died on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance. Daughter of the late David and Beulah (Barnier) Schram. Loving mother of Michael Dejaegher and his wife Elizabeth of Waterloo and Dan Dejaegher and his wife Sylvia of Chatham. Mother in law of Bill White of Chatham. Grandmother of Robert White, Scott White, Glendon White, Jodi Dejaegher, Mathew Dejaegher, Keith Dejaegher and Chris Dejaegher. Dear sister of Eva Martin of Chatham and Bob Schram and his wife Kit of Chatham. Predeceased by her daughter Judy White and her brothers Raymond Schram, Don Schram, Tom Schram, Bernard Schram, Russell Schram and Harold Schram and her sisters Mildred Lowe, Dorothy Mason and Marian Lamarsh. Beatrice was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church and the C.W.L. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxilliary Branch #28 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Beatrice belonged to the Maple City Centre for older adults and was past president of the Chatham Kent C.C.B White Cane Club. A special thanks to Cathy Young, Debbie, her homecare worker, who went above and beyond the call of duty. To the lady who read her the obituaries daily. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, Ontario on Monday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave. W., Chatham on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
