Obituary of Leone Elizabeth Poole

POOLE: Leone Elizabeth, a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Muirkirk, Leone Poole passed away peacefully at New Beginnings Rest Home, Ridgetown on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 93. Born in Enniskillen Township, daughter of the late John and Ethel (Clements) McDougall. Beloved wife of the late George Gilbert Poole (1974). Loving mother of Mary Poole of London and the late John Poole (2003). Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Christina and Gilbert. Survived by her daughter-in-law Lauraine Poole of Muirkirk. A special thank you for the care givers at the New Beginning Rest Home in Ridgetown. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Interment of cremated remains in Purcell Cemetery at a later date. Donations by cheque to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Emmanuel Congregational Church or the New Beginnings Rest Home would be appreciated.
