Obituary of Neil Cyster

CYSTER, Neil: A resident of Chatham, Neil Cyster died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the age of 74. Born in Ekfrid Township, son of the late Albert and Nettie (Alward) Cyster. Beloved husband of Margot (Hladik) Cyster for 36 years. Brother of Alex and Pat Cyster, Phil and Betty Cyster and Mae Bentley, all of Chatham and predeceased by Thelma Jenkins, Lorine Bushmeyer, Mary Wauthier, Albert Cyster, Kathleen Brown, John Cyster, Alice Wauthier, Phyllis Whitmarsh and Marjorie Liddle. Also survived by 3 sisters-in-law in Germany and numerous nieces and nephews. Neil was the owner/operator of Neil’s Plumbing and Heating for a number of years. Visitation at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. from the Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Reynolds officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations, made by cheque, to O.S.P.C.A., Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
