Obituary of Clifford G. Glasier

GLASIER: CLIFFORD GORDON, 67, passed away suddenly on January 17, 2007 while vacationing in Mexico with his loving wife Janette Lerch of London Ontario. Cliff was a man with strong convictions to live life to the fullest. He taught us all that through tragedy, we can still find love and life carries on. He was a true and honest gentleman who deeply loved his family and friends. Cliff was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley, (2000), (Gutteridge) and his parents Clifford (2001) and Bernadette (2005) Glasier, formerly of Tilbury. He will be missed but fondly remembered by his sons Brent Glasier, wife Ann-Marie Deas and Jay Glasier and wife Glynis. His Grandchildren, Katie, Breann, Samantha, Hayden & Dharma will forever cherish the precious memories of spending time with Grandpa in Florida, Grand Bend and on the Bruce. Also missed by stepson Ryan Lerch (Gabrielle) and step-daughter, Dayna Tennant (Troy). Cliff was the beloved brother to Katherine Gagnier of London, Larry Glasier and wife Norine of Chatham, Carol Mather and husband John of Tilbury, Ernie Glasier and Wife Nancy of Tilbury. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive family and friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, January 26, 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Friday at 1:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave., Chatham on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett, Celebrant. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. The Family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ‘Bruce Trail Association’ or the Canadian Red Cross.
