TEWKESBURY, Jack: A resident of Chatham, Jack D. Tewkesbury died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the age of 84. Born in Chatham, son of the late John A. and Jean (Dale) Tewkesbury. Beloved husband of Margaret K. (Hall) Tewkesbury. Loving father of Dale and Marsha Tewkesbury and David and Elaine Tewkesbury, all of Chatham. Grandfather of Todd, Jay, Peter, Paul, Jarrod and Jeffrey. Great-grandfather of 8. Brother of the late Margaret Kennedy. Brother-in-law of Amber Hall and Wayne Hall, both of Chatham. Jack served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during W.W.II and with the Quebec Airways as a Captain. He retired from Chrysler Canada in 1977. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2007 from the Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Milliken of Sprucedale United Church officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date. Donations, made by cheque, to the War Amps of Ontario, Chatham Branch of the O.S.P.C.A. or Charity of Choice appreciated.
