Turner, John Ernest. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly Orford Township John Ernest Turner passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Friday, February 2, 2007 at the age of 82. Born in Orford Twsp., Kent County, son of the late William Turner and Catherine Murphy. Beloved husband of Georgina M. (Pistek) Turner. Dear father of Elaine Turner of London. John enjoyed dancing, golfing and vacations in Florida. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, East, Ridgetown on Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:30 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations by cheque to the Alzheimer's Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
