ZURFLUH, Martin, Gilbert: A resident of Chatham, Martin Zurfluh died at his residence on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the age of 68. Born in Alberta, son of the late Rudolph and Louise (Atkins) Zurfluh. Loving and faithful husband and caregiver of Norma Jean (Gedischk) Zurfluh for 46 years. Loving father of Todd Zurfluh of Chatham, Rick and Laurie Zurfluh of Wallaceburg and Heather McClanahan of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Tabitha and Nicholas Zurfluh, Jeremy and Melissa Zurfluh and Brandon and Brittany Almas. Brother of Sharon Strongberg, Shirley and Douglas Moffat and Albert and Gail Zurfluh, all of Alberta. Martin retired from Eaton Springs. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2007 from the Funeral Home with Pastor William Pipke Sr., of Evangel Community Church officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations, made by cheque, to Gideon Bibles or the M.S. Society appreciated.
