Obituary of Reyer Barendregt

BARENDREGT: Reyer. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of R.R.#1 Ridgetown, Reyer Barendregt passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the age of 85. Born in Rozenburg, The Netherlands, son of the late Adam and Laantje (Vandereyk) Barendregt. Beloved husband of the late Adriana (Zeeuw) Barendregt (1997). Uncle of Jacob and Renee Geluk of R.R.#1 Ridgetown, and Adam Geluk of R.R.#1 Ridgetown and his late wife Anneke (2006). Brother of Henk Barendregt of Winnipeg, Jane Geluk of The Netherlands, and predeceased by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donald MacMillan officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
