Obituary of Ivan Jamison

JAMISON, Ivan: A resident of Chatham, Ivan Jamison died at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the age of 74. Born in Collingwood, son of the late John and Mildred (Carr) Jamison. Husband of the late Margaret “Maggie” (Thompson) and the late Rachel (Prentice). Brother of William Jamison; Barrie, Marjorie and William Beauregard; Collingwood, Marion Jamison; London, Gary Jamison; Collingwood and the late Teddy, Marylou, Johnny and Lloyd Jamison. Ivan was a taxi driver with Ace Cab Company and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007 from the Funeral Home with Branch President Warren Newcombe of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Interment in Collingwood Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date. Donations, made by cheque, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association appreciated.
