Obituary of Merle Robinson

Robinson: A resident of Ridgetown, Merle D.(Welch) Robinson, died on Thursday April 5, 2007 , at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 75. Born in Ridgetown, daughter of the late Harry Edward Reginald and Fern Anne (Dawson) Welch. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Walter Robinson. (1993). Dear mother of Bev and Marnie Robinson of Ridgetown , Rick Robinson and Bonnie Campbell of Ottawa, and Mark and Carol Robinson of Chatham. Grandmother of Chris and Tammy, Libby and Shawn, Nathan and Amber, Sarah, and great grandmother of Natalie, Alyssa and Evan. Sister of Larry and Jean Welch of Nova Scotia, and the late Ben Welch, Walter Welch, Sam Welch, Bev Welch and Marion Butler. Also survived by sisters-in-law Frances Welch of Orillia, and Jessie Cutler of Toronto , and several nieces and nephews. The Robinson family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown , from 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 7, 2007 until the time of service at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Paul Shaw officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations made by cheque to the Diabetes Association or Friends of The Ridgetown Public Library would be appreciated.
