Obituary of Jean V. Smith

SMITH: Jean Viola (April 20, 1921-April 13, 2007). A resident of London and formerly of Ridgetown, Jean Viola Smith passed away at University Hospital, London on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the age of 85. Born in Howard Township, daughter of the late Orville and Daisy (Sole) Goff. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Glenn (Mack) Smith (1988). Dear mother of June Charter (Howard) of Mitchell, Rev. Dr. Janice McIntyre (Ron) of London, and Mack Smith Jr. (Bessie) of London. Grandmother of Mark Smith (Laura) of London, Rona McIntyre of Seoul, S. Korea, Stacey Charter (Bill) of London, D. Scott McIntyre (Julie) of London, and Michelle Koepke (Dave) of London. Great-grandmother of Meghan Fretter-McIntyre, Spencer McIntyre, Simon McIntyre, Mackenzie Koepke, and Wesley Smith. Sister of the late Hattie Fraser and her husband Alvin of Ridgetown, the late Harold Goff and his wife Athene of Charing Cross, the late Donald Goff, and the late Glenn Goff. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev.
