GAMMAGE: Sandra (Sandy). A resident of Ridgetown, Sandy Gammage passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the age of 53. Born in Pembroke, dear daughter of Murray Newman and the late Celina (Beaupré) Newman. Beloved wife of Terry Gammage for 32 years. Loving mother of Shawn Newman of Guelph, Tanaya Schippers and her husband Doug of Ridgetown, and Tom Gammage and his wife Tammie of Highgate. Grandmother of Brennen, Calob, Cody, and Brianna. Sister of Sharon and Pete Cimetta of Mississauga, Ed and Pam Newman of Keene, Lee Ann Newman of Peterborough, Sherri Newman and spouse John of Brampton, Lynn White of Picton, Charlene LaMarsh of Picton, and Carol Newman of Ridgetown. Also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Sandy was a caring and dependable bus driver with Johnston Bus Lines and took care of her extended school family for 24 years. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church and the C.W.L. Sandy also volunteered with the Chatham-Kent Policing Committee for several years. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Ridgetown on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
