Obituary of Charles Beecroft

BEECROFT: Charles Edmund (Charlie). A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Orford Township, Charlie Beecroft passed away at the Village Retirement Residence, Ridgetown on Monday, May 14, 2007 in his 95th year. Born in Hamilton, son of the late Walter and Florence (Howard) Beecroft. Beloved husband of the late Inez (Salisbury) Beecroft (2006). Dear father of Fred Beecroft and his wife Sherry of R.R.#3 Thamesville, Charles G. Beecroft and his wife Janet of R.R.#3 Thamesville, and the late Larry Edmund Beecroft (1971), Darcy Wayne Beecroft (1971), and infant Charles Gary Beecroft (1940). Loving grandfather of Megan, Chad, Kurt, Todd, Kristi, Jeff, Dana, and Cory. Brother of Irvine and Gwen Beecroft of London, Joy and Henry Pearson of Chatham, James and Pat Beecroft of R.R.#3 Bothwell, Floreen and Murray Payne of Blenheim, and the late Tom Beecroft, Ellen Forsyth, Howard Beecroft, Reg Beecroft, and Lillian Tilley. Brother-in-law of Vera Beecroft of Chatham, Steve Tilley of Sarnia, and Ruby Aikmen of Chatham. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
