Obituary of Gordon E. Brown

BROWN: Gordon E. A resident of Ridgetown, Gordon E. Brown passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the age of 83. Born in Ridgetown, son of the late Harold and Bertha (Cowell) Brown. Husband of Leona (Charron) Brown. Father of Barb Jillard of Hamilton, Jim Brown and his wife Edna of Ridgetown, Gordon Brown and his wife Barb of Ridgetown, and predeceased by his son Dave Brown (1991). Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 12. Brother of Jean Scott of Ridgetown, and the late Harold, Walter, and Gerald Brown. Gordon worked for Locke & Company in Ridgetown for 33 years, and also at Trdak's Men's Wear well into his retirement. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 18, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Alan McIntyre officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations by cheque to Meals on Wheels (Ridgetown) or The Village Palliative Care would be appreciated.
