AGAR: Luella A resident of Chatham, Luella Agar, passed away at her residence on Friday May 25, 2007 at the age of 94. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Perry and Alice (Catton) Brown. Beloved wife of the late Ross Agar (2001) for 69 years. Dear mother of Marilyn (Shaw) Armstrong and her husband George of Chatham, Mary Frances Buncombe of R.R. #9 Chatham, Helen Livsey and her husband Alan of Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia, and Brian Agar and his wife Judith of Chatham. Loving grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 21. Will be missed by her sister Dorothy Boyle of Chatham. Predeceased by brothers Marvin Brown and Clayton Brown, sister-in-law Pansy Brown, and sons-in-law Lorne Shaw and Richard Buncombe. Mrs. Agar was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Margaret Moriyama officiating. Interment Arnold Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
