Obituary of Gladys Marion Stennett

STENNETT: Gladys Marion. A resident of Kitchener and formerly of Windsor and Ridgetown, Gladys Marion Stennett passed away at Forest Heights Nursing Home in Kitchener on Saturday May 26, 2007 at the age of 93. Born in Mattawa, Ontario, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Scott) McCracken. Beloved wife of the late H. Arthur Stennett. Dear mother of H. Gene and Cecilia Stennett of Hudson, Florida, and Margaret (Penny) and Bob Beachley of Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Grandmother of 6 and Great-Grandmother of 8. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Also surviving are 4 nephews. Mrs. Stennett was retired from the Canadian Customs in Windsor. The Stennett Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday May 31, 2007 from Noon until 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. by her nephew Pastor Bruce Fournier of Waterloo. Cremation with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations by cheque to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
