Obituary of Clarence Visser

VISSER: Clarence In Thy presence is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11. On May 27th 2007, at 2 pm, with his family by his side, the Lord in his infinite wisdom, called unto himself, His beloved son, Clarence Visser. A resident of Chatham and born in Andyk, The Netherlands, 77 years ago on Sept 11, 1929, he was the son of Dirk and Tryntje Visser (Kwantes) and is survived by his loving wife Audrey Visser (Vanderzwan). Cherished father of four children: Margaret Mallett, Doug and Connie Visser, Ken and Carrie Visser and Ken and Angela Moesker. He will be sadly missed by 18 grandchildren: Johnathon, Jason, Kristen, Marissa, Nicole, Gabrielle, Ashley, Rachelle, Kenneth, Aaron, Christian, Angelica, Ariel, Josiah, Joshua, Sarah, Isaac, Hannah and 7 great grandchildren: Hailey, Alexander, Asher, Emillia, Abigail, Nevaeh and Kaelyn. Loved brother of Margriet and Hank Bax, Peter (deceased) and Alice Visser, Lloyd (deceased) and Alice Visser, the late Jeannette Morrison and the late Wilma Doucette. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to gather at Praise Fellowship Church, 165 Park Ave E., on Thursday, May 31 from 12 p.m. until the service at 1p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations, made by cheque, to: Praise Fellowship’s India Orphanage Fund or Praise Fellowship’s Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
