Obituary of Frances Buschemeyer

BUSCHEMEYER: Frances “Edie” (Fortescue), a resident of Chatham, died on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance at the age of 79. Born in Chatham to the late Arthur & Florence (Parks) Fortescue. Beloved wife of the late David William Buschemeyer (1993). Cherished aunt to Paul Scherle, Stewart Whyte, Andrew Whyte, and Cathy Corriveau. Edie will also be dearly missed by many other nieces and nephews in the Buschemeyer family. She is the dear sister of John Scherle and predeceased by sister Emily Whyte (2002), and brother Jack Fortescue (1984). Edie will be dearly missed by her friends at Meadow Park Nursing Home. She was a member of Christ Church in Chatham. Edie’s family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Fuenral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007, from the Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Millward officiating. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial donations, made by cheque, to The Multiple Sclerosis Society are welcomed.
