Obituary of Seth G. Dekker

Died suddenly on Monday, July 30, 2007 at the age of 29. Forever missed by his son Ethan. Cherished son of Joyce & Stu vanderBaan. Dear brother to Elise & Ted Hoekstra, and uncle to Shayla & Brody. Loving partner to Chantelle Beaulieu and her children Tierric Beaulieu and Isaiah Rossignol. Best friend to Colin, Melissa and C.J. McNear. Survived by his grandparents John and Edith VanderEnde and Oma (Koos) Dekker. Seth will be dearly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his Opa Dekker (2000) and cousins Jay (John) denBoer (2001) and Jeremy VanderEnde (2002). Seth was an employee at Meritor in Chatham. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. All are asked to gather on Friday, August 3, 2007 at First Christian Reformed Church, 25 Tweedsmuir Ave. W. Chatham. from 10 a.m. until the service to celebrate Seth’s life at 11 a.m. Pastor Peter Hogeterp officiating. Friends wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Seth’s life are asked to consider a donation, by cheque, to Victim Services, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Geranium House (V.O.N Children’s Services).
