MONDEN: Chris. A resident of R.R.#1 Ridgetown, Chris Monden passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the age of 63. Born in Etten-Leur, The Netherlands, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Christianen) Monden. Beloved husband of Jo Anne (Nooyen) Monden for 41 years. Dear father of Kevin Monden and his wife Brenda of Thamesville, Mark Monden and his wife Cassandra of Thamesville, Shelly Dyck and her husband Harvey of Blenheim, and the late Shawn Monden (2001). Grandfather of Zachary, Cody, and Paige Monden. Brother of Kees and Joanne Monden of Mitchell, Jos and Corrie Kerstens of Mitchell, Jos and Paula Monden of The Netherlands, Adrie Linders Monden of The Netherlands, Kees and Relia DeRooy of The Netherlands, and the late John Monden (2003). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
