Obituary of J. Beverley Steel

STEEL; J. Beverley A resident of R.R. #4, Blenheim, James Beverley Steel passed away on Friday, August 10, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born 79 years ago in Harwich Township son of the late Burwell M. and Margerite (Durfy) Steel. Beloved husband of the former I. Marie (Holmes) Steel. Dear father of Sharren and Dale Eveland of Blenheim, James A. Steel of London and Joanne and Paul Lennon of Calgary. Loved grandfather of Bruce Eveland and his wife Lenni Carreiro, Michael Eveland, Bill Steel, Kari Steel, Jennifer, Cameron, Craig and Evan Lennon. Great grandfather of Caitlyn and Brooke. Predeceased by a brother Garry Steel. Bev was a member of the New Scotland United Church, a former member of Erie Street United Church A.O.T.S. and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. The Steel family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home “Ford Chapel” 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made by cheque to the Lung Association or the Arthritis Society appreciated.
