Obituary of I. Ruth Kearney

Kearney, I. Ruth : It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruth Kearney announce her death. Thursday August 23rd 2007,at Riverview Gardens, Chatham with family at her side her soul was set free. She was born in Windsor Ontario March 8th 1926. She married Robert M. Kearney in 1945 and they spent their life together on the farm in the former Howard Township. It was there where they raised their 4 children, Barry (Sandra), Ellen Tinline (Bob), Mary Beth Cadotte (Wayne) and Delmer (Roseanne). Children were the apple of Ruth's Eye. She is survived by her Grandchildren Kristina Richards (Mark), Colleen Janssens (Jerry), Ryan Eastick (Catherine), Kyle Eastick (Jessica), Drew Tinline (Wendy), Brad Tinline (Shannon), David Cadotte (Eleanor), James McKellar (Melanie), Michael Cadotte (Heather), Stacey McKellar Adam Cadotte,, Keith and Brian Kearney. Ruth was also blessed with 4 great-Grandchildren Emma Richards, Blake and Jack Tinline, Logan Cadotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews all of whom she opened her home to on the farm. Ruth was predeceased by her parents J. Archibald and Ethel (Buller) McLarty, her brother Russ McLarty (1970) and her daughter-in law Marilyn (1984) and her infant grandson Stacey Tinline (1976) In lieu of flowers, the family request that Ruth's life be honoured with donations to the Alzhiemers Society. Ruth will be cremated and a private family service will be held at Greenwood cemetery at a later date.
