BERNARD, Wilfred Adrian A resident of Chatham, Wilfred A. Bernard died on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 86. Born in St. Alphonse, Quebec, son of the late Eugene and Orena (Roussey) Bernard. Beloved husband of Donna (Rodgers) Bernard for 60 years. Loving father of Leonard and Jackie Bernard of Dresden, Shirley and George Pappas of Chatham and David Bernard of Chatham. Grandfather of Tanya and Tim Boock, Brady Bernard, Perry and Megan Pappas, Lea and Rob Jamieson and Tony and Jodi Pappas. Great-grandfather of Naya Rose, Aalyia, Tyson and Josselyn. Step-grandfather of Lesly, Tim, Karen and Michael. Brother of Leonard Bernard, Charles and Alice Bernard and Lillian Bernard, all of Quebec and predeceased by Blanche Bernard and Paul Bernard. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Wilfred will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones. Mr. Bernard has been a Chatham Businessman for over 40 years, having owned and operated BernardÂ’s Style Studio. He enjoyed family, sports, and in retirement, he loved traveling. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 9:00 a.m.- 10:45 a.m. with procession to church at 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007 from Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev.
